Strongest Shopper Event

Acton residents compete to win the title of West London’s Strongest Shoppers at Acton Market in January 2008. The competition, organized through local fitness company The Urban Vitality Company, was held in Acton and Chiswick.

Market-goers had to hold out a bag of shopping with a straight arm for as long as possible. Acton shoppers were the clear winners in both the men’s and women’s categories.
